Hello.

My name is Malte. I create websites, design interfaces and write code. I like typography, hysterical music and radical constructivism. I'm also a firm believer in postmodernism and minimalistic approaches. I live in Hamburg, Germany.

This is my stream of consciousness. I use Tumblr to collect and sample visual and textual scraps of digital information that seem relevant to me. It's subjective, contingent and complex.

I just ordered two issues of this thing of beauty. It’s the house journal of Amsterdam-based shop Tenue de Nîmes, which does not only carry a selection of beautiful clothes but also hosts events and produces a limited run of its own products. I am deeply in love with their logo, too. Have a quick look inside Journal de Nîmes here.

I did that Tumblr recommendation thing this week and I picked lay-out for inspiration. I’ve been following only for a short while, but they keep coming through with great stuff like this.

Just my Type is a neat project by Jakub Nylund to distribute some of his experimental typeface designs. They’re all available in AI format and may be used freely. Please note Jakubs own portfolio by the name of Formconspiracy. The poster pictured here makes use of his font Soraya and has been designed by Vasava.
