Hello.

My name is Malte. I create websites, design interfaces and write code. I like typography, hysterical music and radical constructivism. I'm also a firm believer in postmodernism and minimalistic approaches. I live in Hamburg, Germany.

This is my stream of consciousness. I use Tumblr to collect and sample visual and textual scraps of digital information that seem relevant to me. It's subjective, contingent and complex.

Great article by Naz Hamid for A List Apart. I need to keep these things in mind.

Delsin 2.0 is a sampler by the Amsterdam-based label. It compiles a range of sophisticated electronic music that kept me going for the last weeks and continues to do so. The deep vibe perfectly matches warm summer evenings in Hamburg. Bonus points for a stunning cover artwork.

Silent World is a breathtaking collection of photos by Michael Kenna. The images document landscapes, nature, industrial architecture and decay in a calm, deep manner. I’ll look at this all day.

I just stumbled over this gem of a tumblelog that does a lot more than just featuring pretty typefaces. It offers insightful storys on designers and historical fonts, all wrapped in a calm, pretty design. One of the best ressources on typography I came across on Tumblr.
